Biography
Tennyson works with children, adolescents, and adults presenting a range of problems in living. He has clinical experience working with trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, relational struggles, depression, religious trauma, life transitions, questions of meaning, and other difficulties. Tennyson works from a broadly psychodynamic framework, while also incorporating dimensions of cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and existential therapies. He strives to provide a warm and empathic presence for his clients, holding a deep respect for the intensely personal nature of the therapeutic process. Tennyson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, along with an MTS from Vanderbilt University with a concentration in Psychology and Culture.
