Biography
Megan Moss (she/her) provides an accepting, nonjudgmental environment to empower clients to work toward healing. She uses a mixture of somatic approaches like EMDR and Somatic Internal Family Systems along with traditional talk therapy. Megan’s practice is trauma-informed and evidence-based working from an anti-oppression lens. Megan’s therapeutic strengths are her understanding of trauma, building authentic relationships with clients, using humor as a therapy tool when appropriate, and exuding warmth. Her values include empathy, intersectionality, and cultural humility. Due to her own experiences, she is passionate about working with people that live in bigger bodies by using a weight-inclusive framework. She offers individual and group therapy, with group work emphasizing healing through solidarity.
